Rock on!

CROWBAR is full! Sorry!

The Forest Service decided to limit our special use permit to 20 racers this year.  A decision they say was based primarily on parking.  I encourage you to write me and/or them and argue this point.  There is adequate parking up there for many more participants, so I apologize.  I am in processs of obtaining an updated permit for next year, and I am hopeful this will not be as much of an issue.

The trail is open to the general public and I invite you to come up and make a donation and/or buy a raffle prize ticket (we have great sponsors and prizes).  Please, come on up!

I encourage you to carpool where possible to minimize the parking impact this year.  This will help our case for next year!

Course Maps

New Course maps will be available shortly.  Distances and elevation gain are similar to last year if you came out.  That is about 6 miles and 3,000' for recreation division and 11 miles and 4,500 vertical for race division.

The course is modified slightly this year as a recent skiing accident and surgery left me non-weight bearing for the next 6 weeks.  A great group of guys have rallied to keep the race going.  A million thanks!

Call for volunteers

We need your help for the CROWBAR!

If you want to come on out, but are not inclined to race, you might be just who we're looking for.  We need about 12 volunteers to help out on race day with the following tasks:

-Registration and check-in
-Check-points
-Setting and clearing the course
-Clean-up
-First-aid

If you're interested email logancrowbar@gmail.com.

Thanks!

Carpooling is encouraged!

Carpooling information:

A significant factor for obtaining our permit from the Forest Service relates to parking and traffic.  Carpooling is strongly recommended.

Just before you enter Logan Canyon (First Dam) there is a nice parking area on the right.  Also, just past that, on the left is another pull-out parking area with lots-o-room.

Keeping the parking impact down may help us keep this event going in the future.  Thanks!
